I became interested in Physical Therapy during my undergraduate degree at Michigan State. I knew I wanted to go into the healthcare field and found my love for physical therapy after shadowing a few different physical therapists in different settings and observing how much they could help their patients return to a better quality of life. I attended PT school at the University of Michigan – Flint where I was able to continue my love for the profession and learn from excellent mentors and professors.
I completed my clinical rotations in a variety of settings including an outpatient pediatric clinic, an outpatient neurological rehab clinic, and an outpatient orthopedic setting with HealthQuest. These three different settings allowed me to see a wide variety of conditions and I knew I wanted to have the opportunity to treat various patient populations which made HealthQuest seem like the perfect fit! I knew the quality of care provided at HealthQuest was superior to many other clinics and could not see myself working anywhere else.
I grew up in Northern Michigan so I enjoy traveling up north and spending time outside as well as boating, hiking, and spending quality time with my husband and dog.
