I was one of the non-traditional students in my PT class, which basically means that I followed a circuitous path into the profession. After I graduated from The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with an English Degree I headed west to work at a ski resort in Lake Tahoe in the winter and East to Newport Rd. Island to work as a boat hand in the summer. From there I sailed across the Atlantic Ocean and the following year, the Pacific Ocean. A ski injury led me into the hands of Stuart Siegner and Bill Knight, the founders of HealthQuest, and from there I was hooked on PT.
Immediately after graduating PT school, I headed back to Bill and Stu. I have the honor of being the first Staff PT at HealthQuest, and I am extremely proud to be a part of what it is today. My passion for PT is as strong now as it was then, and I am looking forward to an exciting future for our profession.
With Bill and Stu’s guidance, I have done post graduate work in Spine and Extremity care, Postural Restoration, and Performance Enhancement as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I have been with HeatlhQuest since 1998, and I continue to love my work. I am extremely grateful to have the privilege of helping my patients get the best possible results out of the time they spend with me. “Helping People Live Life Well” is my motto, and I aspire to live up to that every day.
