My interest in Physical Therapy blossomed from exposure to the field. Being active in sports such as: soccer, track, football, baseball, martial arts, snowboarding, etc. and sustaining the injuries that unfortunately sometimes coincide provided lots of opportunity to observe and absorb interest. After high school (go Clarkston wolves!) I worked as an exercise technician for over 5 years before obtaining my Associate’s degree, during which I found my first true calling for rehabilitation with amputees, learning from Paralympic athletes. Since graduating, I’ve worked in multiple settings including orthopedic, neurological, sports medicine, long term care, and acute post-operative. Having this exposure to the field has given me a unique perspective on rehabilitation and continues to help me better assist patients in their recovery.  In addition, I’ve been fortunate to meet truly unique people and very wise mentors to whom I still maintain contact with. I was lead to HealthQuest because of the superior service in quality of care to patients but also the involvement and dedication to the community.  I look forward to being involved into the community aspect!

In my free time in enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling (both locally and distant), going to new or familiar restaurants and venues in the metro area, physical activities (camping, swimming, martial arts, snowboarding, bicycling, hiking), or any one of my many hobbies (ie: special F/X design and fabrication, cake baking and decorating, hat knitting or my second, true passion, photography).

I’m very happy to once again be working in such a great community; for a great company where I can share and utilize my skills, as well as learn new ones from such knowledgeable co-workers!
