I pursued a career in Athletic Training because I wanted to continue to be in the sports world. Sports were my life, and I played anything with a ball or puck. I thought Athletic Training was the only career I could work with athletes, until I realized this path was not for me. It was not until my junior year at GVSU when I understood what a Physical Therapist did, and it became love at first sight. Physical Therapy encompasses everything I am passionate about, which is the ability to help and rehabilitate patients so they can live their best life. Also, I can be active in sports specific rehabilitation for athletes and work with a variety of patient populations!
I’ve had the opportunity to meet Robb Aikens, COO, through an educational board panel in one of my classes at Wayne State. I love the different programs HealthQuest offers and the laid-back, supportive demeanor Robb possesses. I know HealthQuest has a positive attitude and outlook on their patient care while being committed to developing outstanding Physical Therapists. I am extremely excited to grow personally and professionally with this company while helping people maintain a healthy lifestyle.
